Soil-test categories are the guide's Table 5 names (Very Low / Low / Optimum / Above Optimum); rates are keyed to the category printed on the farmer's New England lab report. Table 5 prints no ppm cutoffs; this source does not classify from ppm. Crop P2O5/K2O rates are the TOTAL RECOMMENDED row of each crop page (or the broadcast vs band row when TOTAL is a planting-method range). Nitrogen published as a range is staged as a range and is not rated.
