Any annual farmer subscription started during our launch window — the first 12 months from public billing go-live — gets 20% off your published price for your first 12 months of subscription. It applies to yearly billing only (not monthly) and not to the Studio/agronomist plan. The discount applies automatically at checkout (no code required) and shows as a clear line item on your invoice. At month 13, your subscription auto-renews at standard rates. There's no lifetime founder lock — the deal is real for Year 1 and converts after.
The free tier is built around 2 fields ≤ 100 acres each and 2 lifetime Rx creations. You can use the product end-to-end — upload samples, generate prescriptions, push to your equipment — without ever paying. The 2 free Rxs are a one-time grant — there are no monthly or annual resets. When you want a 3rd Rx, a 3rd field, or any paid-tier feature, the only path forward is to upgrade. Your data, fields, and the 2 generated Rxs stay yours forever, even if you later drop back to free.
No clock — the free tier itself is the demonstration. We don't ask for your card up front, there's no 14-day countdown, and there's no auto-conversion surprise. When you're ready to subscribe, you'll already have used the product end-to-end and know exactly what you're paying for.

Each tier has a set monthly price — Starter $20, Grower $70, Operator $285, Enterprise $500 — and a set annual price that works out cheaper over a full year. You can switch between annual and monthly any time through your Stripe customer portal. Note that Founder Year 1's 20% off applies to annual billing only.
Active fields only. An "active" field is one that's had soil sample upload, Rx generation, or sampling plan activity in the last 12 months. John Deere-imported fields you've never worked do NOT count toward the cap — that would be a bait-and-switch. You can upgrade, downgrade, or remove fields any time to manage your cap.
Cancel any time. Monthly subscriptions end at the end of the current period; annual subscriptions keep access through the year you paid for. We don't offer a 30-day money-back guarantee — but you've already used the product end-to-end on free tier before subscribing, and monthly billing is the low-commitment validation path. Belt-and-suspenders refund windows would add operational complexity for negligible customer benefit at our stage.
Stripe Tax computes and adds sales tax at checkout based on your billing address. Most US states don't require collection until you cross a transaction-volume threshold — Stripe handles all of that automatically. International billing is supported but specific currency/VAT handling depends on your jurisdiction; reach out if you have a question.
Each paid tier includes team Operator seats (1 at Starter, 3 at Grower, 10 at Operator, unlimited at Enterprise) plus unlimited Viewer seats.
